My heart is overflowing. I can't tell you how much it means to me when something speaks so strongly to someone, that they feel moved to make a difference. It can be anything. Today, it was these little red radio flier wagons the kids at St. Jude use to get around from treatment to treatment.
I finished my show, returned to my office and found several donations had been made. Friends, family, people I've never met, were moved to make a difference in the lives of sick children they may never meet. They gave money to a hospital they may never visit (hope they never have to). They gave hope where it's very much needed. It never ceases to amaze me.
To think, that at one point in my career, I felt insignificant. I was just a disconnected "voice". Over the years, you have proven it's not just a voice you hear. You hear my heart. Thank you for listening with yours and for helping St. Jude Research Hospital.
If you know someone who may want to help, please share the link with them. You never know who will be motivated to give OR what the reason behind it is. Hopefully, it's the idea of a cancer free world for all.
