The rankings are based on 31 factors, including life satisfaction scores, depression rates, Covid rates, income growth, employment rates, job satisfaction scores, and weather.
The five happiest cities in the country are: Fremont, California . . . Bismarck, North Dakota . . . Fargo, North Dakota . . . Madison, Wisconsin . . . and San Jose, California.
The five at the bottom of the list are: Detroit . . . Cleveland . . . Augusta, Georgia . . . Memphis . . . and Toledo, Ohio.
