Dierks Bentley Announces 2018 Mountain High Tour

And the award for most creative way to announce a tour goes to Dierks Bentley.

Among the slew of recent country music tour announcements, the country superstar’s 2018 Mountain High Tour reveal stands out thanks to its funny antics with opening acts Brothers Osborne and Lanco.

The clip features the openers venturing into the woods to meet a shaman, who happens to look a lot like Dierks and guides the crew through a must-see hallucination trip.

“I didn’t take it for granted that I had six or seven hours to pretend like I’m a shaman,” Dierks tells Entertainment Weekly of his alter ego. “I was in full character.”

The singer promises similar vibes on the Mountain High Tour, which kicks off May 17 in Columbia, Maryland, and visits a total of 40 cities through the summer.
