Our buddy Drew Baldridge has announced he's started a new charity called WERD. You're probably wondering, where did he come up with this name? It's actually his name Drew spelled backwards.
Each months Drew will select a new charity and the proceeds raised from his WERD shirts at his shows, and even his online merch store. For the month of April, Drew will be raising money for the Shriners Hospital For Children. The reason why he picked the Shriners is because of a childhood experience.
He explains, “When I was in the seventh grade I was having issues with my feet and those issues kept me from playing basketball. I was breaking my feet a lot, and then I went to Shriners. They built special shoes for me to wear all throughout high school. I was so grateful for all of their help and I have always wanted to find ways to give back to them."
