Watch: Kelsea Ballerini Shares Sneak Peek Revealing Her Next Collab

Kelsea Ballerini shared a sneak peek of an upcoming collaboration with Patrick Droney.

Ballerini, 32, teamed up with the soulful pop artist, 34, on “Math of Us.” The two of them shared a snippet of the upcoming ballad on Instagram on Thursday evening (July 16). Droney said he and his “dear friend” tell the story of “the conversation we don’t often have with each other — the one that lingers in every corner of our time together.” “Math of Us” will appear on Droney’s soon-to-debut album, Made You Look, which also features previously-released tracks “Back in My Body” and “Growing a Garden.” The full album — including the duet with Ballerini — will arrive on Friday, July 24.

The emotional ballad switches gears from Ballerini’s latest song to release, an upbeat collaboration with genre-spanning DJ and record producer Marshmello. Ballerini said “Another Drink” “came to life at the perfect time for us to combine our worlds for a fun, summertime jam. I hope it makes everyone cheers and dance.”

Ballerini, whose most recent project is 2025’s Mount Pleasant, shared that she moved to New York City for “a chapter of life.” She said during an appearance on TODAY with Jenna & Sheinelle that “I want to make my next record up here. …I really am loving it. It’s just such an alive place. It’s so creative. ...I’m loving this chapter of life just because I really feel like I’m being really intentional about connecting to myself.”
