The 2026 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame nominees have been revealed in two categories.
iHeartRadio’s Anne Hudson pointed out a few of the biggest names appearing on the list of all-stars in Nashville’s songwriting community: “So the 2026 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame nominees have been announced, and there’s some big names on the list: Miranda Lambert, Chris Stapleton, even Taylor Swift, to name a few. So, from this year’s group of nominees, two songwriters and one songwriter/artist will be selected for induction by members of the Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame.”
Lambert, Stapleton and Swift (who made history when she became the youngest woman inducted into the Songwriters Hall of Fame in New York City earlier this year) appear among the list of nominees in the Contemporary Songwriter/Artist category, along with Phil Vasser. Contemporary Songwriter Category nominees include Jim Beavers, Shawn Camp, Rodney Clawson, Dallas Davidson, Marv Green, Lee Thomas Miller, Neil Thrasher and Chris Tompkins.
The 2026 Nashville Songwriters Hall of Fame inductees will be announced at a later date.
