Wynonna Judd is hitting the road on a fall headlining run, the Grammy-winning icon announced on Monday (August 3).
Judd will kick off “The Hard Truth Tour” on October 8 in New York. Destinations throughout the run of shows include stops in Texas, Oklahoma, Florida, North Carolina and more. Th tour wraps up on November 21 in Gary, Indiana. Judd’s 15-date tour will showcase “her unmistakable voice, powerhouse performances, and deeply personal new music,” states a press release. The tour will follow Judd's co-headlining “Raised On Radio Tour” performances with legendary rock star Melissa Etheridge. The run of shows also arrives as Judd gets ready to release her new solo album of the same name.
"As we were making this record, I kept finding myself thinking about you. Every song we recorded, every story we told... I couldn't help but wonder what it would feel like to stand onstage and share it with you face to face,” Judd said in a statement in the press release issued Monday. “That's the wonderful thing about music. A song may start in a writing room or a studio, but it doesn't really come alive until it's shared. The Hard Truth holds some of the most honest moments I've ever put to music. It's about the things that shape us, break us, heal us, and keep us moving forward. Bringing these songs to the stage feels like inviting you into that journey with me."

“I’ve spent a lifetime singing about heartbreak, healing, faith, and survival, but I’ve never made a record like this one,” Judd said in a statement when she announced the album. “These songs tell the truth about where I’ve been, what I’ve lost, what I’ve overcome, and who I’ve become. This album asked me to be brave enough to tell the truth—even when my voice shook. It challenged me to let go of perfectionism and embrace the beauty of honest emotion.”
Judd said in an interview with iHeartCountry earlier this year, “music is such a healer. It really brings people together in a way that’s really necessary today in our country.”
The Hard Truth will arrive on October 2. See Judd’s upcoming “The Hard Truth Tour” dates below. Tickets will be available to the general public beginning at 10 a.m. local time on Friday (August 7).
