When they found Hudson last November, he had burns all over his body and had obviously been neglected.
Thanks to the Sanctuary Project in Arizona, life for "Huds" is so much better.
According to the organizations founder, Amy Cubillas, the original plan was to heal Hudson and help him find a home via adoption, but they soon realized, this dog loves to work.
At a year old, and recovering from abuse, they began training him to become a therapy dog, with the intentions that Hudson would help burn victims and others in need.

The need to help others heal comes natural to Hudson. Cubillas tells KVOA.com, “It is gas in his tank when he can love on someone and know that he's making a difference.”
