Dreams Come True for Special Kids at Nashville Zoo

Just after closing, the zoo reopened their doors to over 700 families for a special event called "Dreamnight at the Zoo." This first time event was designed to give children suffering chronic illnesses, disabilities or special needs a unique experience. They had been invited by various family associated charities such as Children’s Hospital at Tristar Centennial  Medical Center, The Ronald McDonald House, Gilda’s Club and Make-A-Wish Foundation.

Families were able to participate in up-close animal encounters, interaction with zoo keepers, music games and food. Several Disney characters like Cinderella, Snow White and Moana, made appearances thanks to the kind hearted folks who volunteer for the zoo.

Looks like everyone had an amazing time!!

Dreamnight at the Zoo was certainly a dream come true for these families. Based on it's success, we're hoping for this event to return annually!
