Chris Janson isn't just a performer, he's an entertainer. His audience is in the palm of his hand. He plays guitar, harmonica, sings and shares some pretty amazing stories between verses. It's no wonder he receives standing ovations all over the country including the historic Grand Ole Opry, where he's performed over 200 times.
Talk about paying your dues. Chris Janson has more than earned his way into the country spotlight. As he says in this video, when he first came to Nashville, he started at Tootsie's downtown playing four shows, every night, 365 days in a row and lived in his car.
The video was filmed in April of 2013 during The BIG 98's Inaugural Songs and Stories for St Jude event at Third and Lindsley in Nashville.

After wrapping Sam Hunt's 15 in a 30 tour, Chris Janson hits the road for a few dates with Tim McGraw & Faith Hill's Soul2Soul tour which includes a stop at Madison Square Garden, where he hopes one of his musical heroes might make an appearance...
iHeartRadio Nashville's Amy Paige caught up with Janson backstage at The Opry to find out who that "hero" is.
We're hoping that dream comes true for Chris when he's in NY with Tim and Faith. We're also hoping for a follow up to the McGraw/Janson Bathroom Session.
Chris Janson's next album, Everybody, will blow your mind. It drops September 22nd.
