Just when you think the world has gone dark...the light of love comes beaming through.
It's a boy's reaction to seeing his prom date walk, for the very first time, since she became wheel chair bound 10 months before. It's the beauty of that same young lady, surrounded by friends cheering, as she receives the much deserved honor of being crowned prom queen. This let's you know...love is very much alive.
10 months ago, Morgan, who lives in Utah, became wheelchair bound after developing "conversion disorder" following an operation. According to Medline Plus, this rare disorder can result in blindness, paralysis or other nervous system (neurologic) symptoms that cannot be explained by medical evaluation.
It took a lot of strength and time for Morgan to prepare this special prom night surprise for her date, who apparently is special himself. When he arrives - the door opens - she sees him standing there in his tuxedo - and when he sees her...well...there are no words.
And, that's just the beginning. As Morgan and her date are surrounded by friends at their prom, the night becomes even MORE magical.
That is 150% genuine unconditional love and joy right there. There's beauty in this world. We just need to share it more...
