Flight Held While Soldier Watches Birth via FaceTime

This soldier sat in tears, watching the birth of his daughter on FaceTime. Brooks Lindsey, from Mississippi, was traveling home to be by his wife's side, when his flight was delayed...but the baby was not. While he was stuck at the airport, his wife went into labor. Thanks to the power of technology, he was able to virtually be with her in the delivery room.

Just as they called his flight to board, the doctors said the baby was coming.

Thanks to the kindness of airport personnel and other passengers, the flight was held to allow this soldier the gift of seeing his child born. A fellow passenger, Tracy Dover, snapped a photo of the sweet moment she witnessed and posted it on Facebook

Finally, after what must have felt like an eternity, Daddy was able to hold his new baby girl.
