Meet Remi: Tennessee's First Electronic Detection Dog

Meet the newest addition to the Williamson County Sheriff's department, Remi!

Remi is a 2-year-old black lab and is Tennessee's first electronic detection dog. Actually, she one of only a few in our country. She's been trained to sniff out electronics like cell phones, SD cards, tablets and flash drives.

The K-9 will be used to help investigators with the Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.

Along with her handler, Remi will accompany investigators to homes where child abuse is suspected. She'll be able to assist in sniffing out electronic media where tell-tale images may be stored.
