CMA FEST: Fan's Eye View of Nashville's BIGGEST Country Music Festival

What an interesting week we had at CMA Music Festival. Technically, CMA Fest is a 4-day festival, but events surrounding the CMT Music Awards begin a few days earlier and fans don't want to miss out on any of that fun either!

Brushes with fame literally await around every corner at ALL hours of the day. There's so much to see and do. It can definitely get a little weird at times, but for the most part, you'll see some really neat experiences that ABC might not have caught for the festival highlight playback on August 8th.

Some of these stories are unbelievable...in any city OTHER than Nashville.

  • A run in with Darius Rucker outside Jason Aldean's new restaurant on Broadway
  • Chris Janson sitting on a fan's lap
  • 13-year-old girl whose voice intrigued Carly Pearce so much, she followed the sound of it into a honky tonk.

Did you catch something incredibly awesome or kind of strange during the festival? Bring it!

Hey!! We know that guy! Meeting Bobby Bones is DEFINITELY a highlight and I'm sure he felt the same about you, Miss Ellie.

As previously stated, it's not always pretty. Thank goodness this story had a happy ending. A dangerous situation involving this woman's husband and three thugs was thwarted thanks to our Metro Police.

One more reason we LOVE Chris Janson...that man would never turn down a dare OR an awesome fan like Marlene.

Hit songwriter Chris DeStefano NEVER disappoints. That right there is CMA Festival MAGIC!

Photo booth fun with Hunter Hayes parents!

Chip Esten is the Selfie King!

There's no festival in the world like CMA Music Festival. You really should experience this at least once in your lifetime. Tickets go on sale for next year's event on August 6th. Hope to see you!!!
