Do you feel that Nashville is experiencing more crime than usual or is this the "norm?"
Compared to last year, Metro police numbers show that violent crime is down, yet these types of stories surface daily.
After leaving a health industry convention party, Michelle Szymanski was approached by a man in wearing a red bandana, who claimed he had a gun and demanded she give him her "stuff." She had been waiting on an Uber, with a co-worker, to drive her home, when the incident occured not far from downtown Nashville's Schermerhorn Symphony. More details on this story here.
There was also another police report filed, involving a female hiker, who had been jumped, knocked to the ground and assaulted while walking a trail at Radnor Park.
