Organizers of Pilgrimage Festival are doing their best to make everyone happy. The two-day festival was cut short on Saturday, when lightning and rain made conditions dangerous for all attendees, performers and staff at Harlinsdale Farm.
Here's the deal. If you purchased a single ticket for Sunday's Pilgrimage Festival line-up, you're covered. Organizers say you'll get a full refund. If you purchased tickets for BOTH days, for NOW, you'll be refunded 50% of your money.
If you happened to spring for Saturday only, as of now, there will be no refund. It was around 4:30 when fans were asked to evacuate due to hazardous weather conditions. Counting Crows were a few songs into their set when given the word, which was ahead of Jack White, Lionel Richie and Hozier's scheduled performances.
Some fans, like the one who tweeted below, weren't so happy with the decision to evacuate. However, there was lightning. 69 Lightning strikes were reported within 2 hours of the festival being evacuated, some less than one mile from where the festival was being held.
The good news is, additional refunds are still being considered as a result of Saturday's programming being cut short.
Be patient and be kind. Sometimes things take a minute. More details HERE.
