As frightening as this situation is, these expressions of kindness and gratitude from our community is extremely heart-warming.
There have been multiple agencies putting in countless hours in an effort to capture Kirby Wallace, one of the most dangerous criminals on the TBI's "Most Wanted" list. While doing so, these men and women have also taken extra measures to keep the community safe by doing things like escorting children on buses to and from their school daily.
And, the community is showing their gratitude. Some folks have been donating supplies like bug spray for those combing wooded areas, others delivering care packages with notes of appreciation and some have shared kind thoughts on social media.
More than 20 agencies are assisting in this search and we're extremely grateful for each individual involved, even more-so once this nightmare is over and Kirby Wallace is behind bars.
The TBI is still asking for your help in capturing one of Tennessee's most wanted felons. A reward of $7,500 is being offered for information leading to the capture of Kirby Wallace. Anyone who spots him is asked to call 1-800-TBI-FIND.
