The thought of Carrie Underwood not being able to sing is almost unfathomable. Imagine how she felt?
That really scary fall last November not only affected, but also made it difficult for her to sing. The accident happened right around the time she was recording the album, "Cry Pretty." She'd received 40 stitches, some on the outside of her mouth as well as the inside. So jumping back into the album post-injury was virtually impossible, no matter how badly she wanted to.
"I had wanted to be in the studio sooner than I was, actually recording these songs, but I had stitches inside my mouth, outside my mouth. It was physically impossible,” Carrie said.
Apparently, she also feels the incident took it's toll on her vocals. She might be able to notice, but we don't. She's still sounds AND looks as flawless as ever.
Can't wait to watch her back in action with Brad Paisley co-hosting the CMA Awards Wednesday night!
