Due to manufacturer concerns about the possibility of listeria, several Trader Joe's stores (including Tennessee) are recalling some packaged fresh vegetables.
The FDA issued a list of stores and states affected. Nashville and Knoxville are both on it.
According to the Food and Drug Administration, Trader Joe's is voluntarily recalling packages of butternut squash, cauliflower, zucchini and vegetable bowls sold under the brands Green Giant, Trader Joe's and Signature Farms. This includes the popular vegetable spirals.Items of most concern would have "Best if Used By" dates between June 26 and 29, 2019.
Again, the recall is voluntary. So far, no illnesses have been reported.
