There's no such thing as a typical Monday in Nashville.
Yes. Even MONDAY is awesome. Thanks in part to Charlie Worsham - one of THE most underrated artists of our time - hosting an all-star jam at Basement East. And, "Every Damn Monday" in July, it's SOLD OUT - which is amazing since the series benefits the Follow Your Heart Foundation. A charity that provides music education.
If you're lucky enough to get tickets (at just $10 a piece), not only do you get killer music, but also an education. Charlie Worsham is a musical historian. Through a series of short stories, historical facts and personal anecdotes - this proud Delta boy and his friends (see below) led the crowd on a journey through his home state of Mississippi.
It was a sweaty good night with Charlie Worsham, Frankie Ballard, Jake Owen, Randy Houser, Molly Tuttle, Dave Barnes, Ketch Secor of Old Crow Medicine Show, Matt Warren, Jeffrey Steele, Guthrie Trapp and Hailey Whitters
It happens Every Damn Monday in July at Basement East Nashville. Same place - different guests.
And, when Jake Owen sings Randy Travis and whole crowd sings along??? It's a DAMN GOOD NIGHT.
