Clarksville Based IT Company Gives Boy New Hands for Christmas

In case you missed it. Clarksville's heart captured the nation's attention.

This was one of my favorite stories of human kindness and compassion from 2019.

The President of a Clarksville, TN based IT company, specializing in 3D printing, learned the story of a little boy who was born missing most of his hands. According to the boy's mother's facebook page, a pair of 3D printed had been on her son's wish list for last Christmas. Out of the kindness of his heart, Bedstone Creative's Anthony Economos decided he would grant 11-year-old Gavin Sumner (also from Clarksville) his wish.

Economos and his "team" put months of hard work into creating the perfect pair of functioning 3D printed hands for Gavin, which were presented to him, days before Christmas.

Friends and family couldn't be more proud of this Clarksville resident's kind heart and Gavin certainly looks happy with his "gift!" That smile says it all.
