Stop Those Quarantine Snacks From Disappearing Too Fast!

This is brilliant. My kids have been eating snacks like it's their job.

If the coronavirus disappeared as quickly as the snacks in our house did - we'd all be breathing a lot easier.

Thank goodness you can't eat toilet paper or we'd be running low on THAT too!!! As soon as this whole "self-quarantine" deal went down, we loaded up on enough snacks to get us through at least six months of being shut in. We bought goldfish crackers, trail mix with chocolate, cheez-its and grapes. In less than 2 weeks, we've already banged through half the supply.

If your kids are just as ravenous, I came across this Mom from Indiana, who is totally NAILING it.

Baskets are the key! Each kid gets their own colored basket. Every morning, she loads them up with snacks for the day and when they're gone - they're gone. They don't get anymore. It also makes them think more about what they're eating and how much. Actually, I think I'll put one together for myself (The Snackasaurs don't fall far from the Snackasaurus Tree).

Oh, I'll probably steal that cup o' the day idea too. Well, maybe after this whole virus deal blows over. Stay well (and sane).
