Brad Paisley and his wife, Kimberly Williams-Paisley announced that they have teamed up with Belmont University to open up The Store. The Store will be a modern version of a food pantry and will be set up like a grocery store for those that are in need.
The Store will be located at 2005 12th Ave. S. next to Belmont University’s Ministry Center. Second Harvest Food Bank along with other organizations have partnered up with The Store to provide fresh and nonperishable groceries to those in need.
People that shop at The Store will be referred by nonprofit and government agencies. The Store plans to serve 3,000 people a year.
