Elton John-Hosted iHeart Living Room Concert For America Raises $10 Million

The numbers are in and our iHeart Living Room Concert for America was a bonafide success on all fronts.

In efforts of offering COVID-19 relief, the star-studded TV concert, which aired on Sunday (March 29), saw stars of all genres come together to perform in their own homes and share positive words amid the coronavirus pandemic. At time of press, the efforts had accumulated $10 million, organizers said. Additionally, the one-hour TV special attracted some 8.7 million viewers across FOX, Fox News Channel, Fox Business, Fox Sports 1, Fox Sports 2 and FOX Deportes on Sunday night, according to early Nielsen ratings.

Among the stars featured in concert special included Elton John, Alicia Keys, Camila Cabello, Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters, Billie Eilish, Backstreet Boys, Billie Joe Armstrong of Green Day, Tim McGraw, H.E.R., Mariah Carey and many more. If you missed out on the show, an encore presentation of the Living Room Concert will air next Monday at 9/8c on FOX.

"Our goal from the start was to 'do good' at a tough time in the world. And that we were able to accomplish anything of that sort is because of the amazing artists who participated in this event, our producing partners, iHeart Media, and the outpouring of support from our employees, viewers and corporate partners," FOX Entertainment CEO Charlie Collier said in a statement. "Many thanks to everyone involved with the production of this special and everyone who gave generously to the wonderful charities. It is they who support the really important work happening across our communities."

You can still support two of many charitable organizations that are helping victims and first responders during this difficult time —Feeding America and First Responders Children's Foundation. Every dollar raised from the COVID-19 response fund for Feeding America will be used to get food and funds to local food banks across the US and FOX Entertainment is matching the first $100,000 donated from supporters. Money raised for First Responders Children's Foundation will help support those first responder families who are enduring financial hardship due to the coronavirus outbreak.
