Teen Gets Unexpected Birthday Present From Fallen Hero Dad

Although his father died in action twelve years ago, this teenager still received a birthday present to remember his fallen father – his esteemed Ford Bronco Truck.

In 2007, US Marine Sgt. Nick Walsh, 26, was killed deadly by a sniper in Iraq, leaving his two sons, Tristan, then four, and Tanner, who was only a few months old.

According to his wife, Julie, Walsh dreamed to give his beloved "Eddie Bauer" truck to his son when Tristan turned 16.

But in the years after his death, Bronco was in the garage of the family home in Millstadt, Illinois, in 1991, collecting dust and rust.

On 26 January – Tristan's birthday – the rest of the Walsh family walked into the Mertz Ford garage, where they were welcomed by a crowd of 100 people.

Present were family, friends and even some marines who served with Sergeant Walsh.

Despite the ceremonial greeting, the teenager still had no idea what was going to happen. ( WhatsNewsToday.com )
