Kansas Parents Stuck With $132,000 Bill After Sculpture Knocked Over

Two parents are stuck with a hefty bill when their kid damaged a sculpture in the Tomahawk Ridge Community Center in Overland Park, Kansas.

It happened at a wedding reception. The Goodmans and their kids were in attendance and then mom Sarah Goodman heard a crash and someone yelling at her son.

"We heard a bunch of commotion and I thought, 'Whose yelling at my son?'" Goodman explained. "This glass mosaic torso is laying on the ground and someone is following me around demanding my personal information."

The sculpture was in the main walkway and unprotected. The Goodmans were also upset no one seemed concerned for her son that was nearly hurt when the art piece fell on him.

Now they're having to pay $132,000 in damages! Is this fair or unrealistic?
