The World's Ugliest Dog title has a new recipient- a 9-year-old bulldog named Zsa Zsa.
Zsa Zsa may have a droopy tongue, crooked smile and not the greatest posture, but her winning shines a light on dogs bred by backyard breeders.
Zsa Zsa spent five years of her life in a puppy mill in Missouri. She was used for breeding then put up for auction where she was bought by Underdog Rescue. She was later adopted by her owner who is letting Zsa Zsa live her best life in Minnesota.
This was the 30th annual World's Ugliest Dog contest. The event is to show everyone how unique dogs can be and to love any and all imperfections.
Zsa Zsa, a 9-year-old English bulldog, was crowned the world's ugliest dog on Saturday, but you know what? She's still an extremely good girl.— BuzzFeed News (@BuzzFeedNews) June 24, 2018
