This past weekend, Toffee the puppy gained national attention when she fell down a 50-foot-hole in Huntsville, Alabama.
Toffee was trapped for more than 30 hours. The seven-week-old deaf Australian shepherd puppy fell between a narrow part in the ground that had come up from the recent rain. The Huntsville community banded together to get Toffee out of the ground. It wasn't easy getting her out.
It took hours of trying to lure her with treats and rescue devices before she finally was rescued Saturday morning. There was a live stream of the rescue that had the whole world watching.
