Mental Health Initiative (MHI), a Nashville-based nonprofit committed to
increasing accessibility to residential mental health treatment, will host its second annual Healing Through
Songs benefit concert on Tuesday, September 10 at Riverside Revival in East Nashville.
Grammy-nominated country star Walker Hayes, RIAA Gold-certified singer-songwriter Kylie Morgan, and Big
Loud recording artist Zandi Holup will perform in an acoustic format inspired by traditional songwriters rounds. The
lineup will take the stage at 7PM, with doors opening at 6PM. Tickets are on sale now at givebutter.com/c/HTS24.
“Healing Through Songs is back for another evening of raising spirits, hope, and funds for increasing accessibility
to residential treatment,” said MHI Executive Director Jessie Louverture. “Walker, Kylie, and Zandi are
all incredible musicians who aren’t afraid to sing or speak about mental health issues - and when people with
large platforms like theirs shine a light on experiencing such challenges, we all benefit. We are excited for the
special performances and intimate conversations that Healing Through Songs 2024 will bring!”
In tandem with the benefit concert, MHI is hosting an online auction with one-of-a-kind experiences and signed
memorabilia from music icons including Brad Paisley, HARDY, Weezer, Green Day, and Train. Bidding is live
at givebutter.com/c/HTS24/auction and ends September 10 at 11:59PM.
All net proceeds from Healing Through Songs go toward MHI’s mission of helping individuals experiencing severe
and recurring mental health challenges through three programs: financial assistance, education, and advocacy.
Mental Health Initiative was founded to break down the financial barriers to treating mental health challenges by
awarding grants that help cover the cost of residential treatment and establishing partnerships with treatment centers
across the country. Additionally, MHI advocates for systemic changes that will increase access to, as well as
promote education about, effective treatment modalities for acute psychiatric illnesses. For more information
