There was A LOT going on at the launch of Cardi B's latest Fashion Nova Collection party on Wednesday night (May 8) at the Hollywood Palladium.
Not only did the "Clout" rapper hit the stage in a neon green thong bodysuit to perform a number of her hits, she also joined Lil Nas X for a special performance of his #1 single "Old Town Road." Giving the crowd the collab they didn't know they needed, the two brought the country to Los Angeles with their hip-hop fusion hoedown.
That wasn't the only surprise of the night. Cardi also performed alongside Blueface and YG. Also in attendance for the Fashion Nova show was Sevyn Streeter, Lamar Odom, Gia Gunn, Dan Bilzerian, Amanda Steele, Kara Del Toro, Logan and Jake Paul, Christina Milian, Serayah, Zhavia, Shaun Ross, and Jeremy Meeks.
It's been quite the busy week for Cardi, who owned the Met Gala carpet on Monday (May 6).
The "Please Me" rapper took claim of fashion's biggest night in an all-red Thom Browne gown that was embellished with 30,000 feathers and needed five handlers to carry it down the carpet. With the gown being such a statement piece as a whole, one would think the entire ensemble would cost an arm and a leg, however, as Cardi explained, one of the most expensive parts of the look, which was created to honor the female body, was actually the two ruby nipples on her chest that cost a whopping $500,000!
"These are ruby nipples by Stefere [Jewelry] — $250,000 each," she told Vogue on the Met Gala's red carpet. "If I lose one of them... I'm gonna have to sell my Birkin bags." (But seriously)
