New Warrant Issued For Host Of 'Fashion House' Party In East Nashville

A Davidson County judge has reportedly issued another arrest warrant for the man charged in relation to an East Nashville house party that violated the Metro Health Department's COVID-19 health procedures for social gatherings.

Christopher Eubank, 40, one of two men accused of throwing the Fashion House party in which hundreds of individuals attended, didn't show up to a settlement hearing on Friday morning, according to online records obtained by FOX 17 News. According to the records, Davidson County General Sessions judge Dianne Turner issued a warrant for Eubank's arrest on a charge of failure to appear.

Eubank was arrested on August 26 on three counts of violating health orders in relation to the August 1 party, FOX 17 News reports.

The party included hundreds of attendees without masks in small spaces, which violated CDC social distancing protocols for COVID-19.

Jeffrey Matthews, the owner owner of the Fern Avenue house, was also charged in relation to the party. Matthews was arrested on August 11 and pleaded guilty several days later to one count of violating an emergency order, which led to him receiving eight hours of "COVID-19 related" public service work and three months unsupervised probation, FOX 17 News reports.

The Metro Health Department reported a total of 30,045 cases of COVID-19 in Davidson County on Friday, which includes 130 new positive cases in a 24-hour span and 1,115 active cases.
