Chris Janson shared a clip of his reaction to hearing his newest, summer-worthy anthem on the radio for the first time on Friday morning (April 25).

Janson delivered “Me & A Beer,” the lead single from his upcoming record that’s due to arrive in August, he confirmed as he revealed a sneak peek of the song before its release earlier this week. The singer-songwriter cranked up the volume in his car as he caught the world premiere of “Me & A Beer” on iHeartCountry and The BIG 98, a Nashville, Tennessee-based iHeartRadio country station. Janson noted, “this is my first-ever iHeart world premiere. …Thank you guys so much for this world premiere. You changed my life once again. I love you guys. Hope you all love it,” he said as he listened to his newest single.

“Me & A Beer” is Janson’s latest anthem to make its debut since “Stay Rowdy” earlier this year. The Perryville, Missouri-born artist, 39, is also known for career-spanning hits “Fix a Drink,” “Whatcha See Is Whatcha Get,” “Buy Me a Boat,” “Good Vibes,” “All I Need Is You,” “Done” and many others.
