Megan Moroney shared a glimpse of the “insane” birthday gift she received from Kenny Chesney.
Moroney, who turned 28 on Thursday (October 9), shared a photo of the guitar she received from Chesney, which included a signature from country legend Dolly Parton. Moroney wrote on her Instagram story that Chesney gave her “the most insane bday gift, a vintage 1984 hummingbird signed by Dolly.” The Emo Cowgirl said she was “screaming, crying, throwing up” in response to the gift.
The reigning Country Music Association New Artist of the Year joined the star-studded lineup of Chesney’s stadium tour in 2024. She wrote Chesney a song, “You Had To Be There,” and gave it to him as a Christmas gift. The 2025 Country Music Hall of Fame inductee joined Moroney on the duet, which they released earlier this year.
Moroney celebrated her birthday with the release of her first-ever live album to relive her “history-making,” sold-out “Am I Okay? Tour.” The 24-track collection was “the only way I can possibly come to terms with this chapter ending is knowing that we’ll have the entire show to listen back to whenever we want… and we get to relive these memories forever.” Find Am I Okay? Tour (Live) on iHeartRadio here.
