Sheryl Crow listed her Top 5 songs â and reflected on the stories behind them â during a recent conversation with Bobby Bones.
The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame member caught up with Bobby Bones on a new episode of The BobbyCast on Tuesday (May 19). During the pairâs conversation, the iHeartRadio personality asked Crow to rank her 5 best songs spanning her career. Crow replied:
- âMy Favorite Mistake,â sharing that âitâs the only song that when it comes on the radio, I donât turn it off.â
- âRedemption Day,â which she wrote âafter I went and played for the troops in Bosnia,â and Johnny Cash later recorded.
- âIf It Makes You Happy,â written after people said âshe doesnât even write her own songs,â Crow explained.
- âEveryday Is a Winding Road,â written after losing a friend and Crowded House bandmate who struggled with depression. The song has had âa lot of different livesâ since, Crow said.
- âI Shall Believe,â which she considers âmy faith song.â
