Bobby & Eddie Write Personal Life Song For Listener

Listener Amy called in and gave info about her husband Damion for Bobby Bones and Eddie to write a personal song for her!  

Some information she shared is that he is 5’8 and she is 5’6, he sometimes claims to be taller, he’s a gym junkie that works out every day, he drives a F-150 truck with a two-inch lift, he is a deiseal mechanic, they have three sons together and he is a phenomenal husband. Some other details she shared were that when she was 8 and he was 12 they met at the skating rink, and she told her mom she was going to marry him one day and everyone laughed in her face. Then when she was 22, they got married and have been together for 7 years. They are both from and live in Florida and he has blue eyes, which is his favorite color. His favorite song is “Rumor” by Lee Brice and his favorite food is fajitas.   

Bones and Eddie were inspired to do this because of the website Songfinch that lets people submit a song request of information and their team creates a custom song. From all the info Amy provided them, Bones and Eddie created a song called “You May Be.”  

The song talked about the first time they met at the skating rink, how they were meant to be together, their three children he drives around in his F-150, his job and that he’s a wonderful father. In the chorus they went, “You may be 5’8 to the rest of the world, but you’re 10 feet tall to me.” They then finished with a reference to his favorite song, “Rumor” by Lee Brice and sang “There’s a rumor going round, that this song is about you.”  

Amy thought the song was incredible and loved the jokes about his height and the clever ending!
