Cody Johnson took home the CMA Award for Album of the Year at the CMAs. He was personally so excited about the win, but so were many of his friends and family. He had to hand off his phone to his wife because he received over 105 text messages immediately following the announcement and he got overwhelmed.
Johnson's story inspired the Bobby Bones Show to share the last time their phones blew up from a life event. Amy recalls hers being when she announced her divorce on the show. Lunchbox's moment was when he ran a marathon without any training. For Eddie, it was during his walk from West Virginia to TN and he got to answer most of his text messages during the walk. Lastly for Bobby, his big life event that overwhelmed his phone was the moment he won the mirrorball on Dancing With The Stars.
