Several days ago, Eddie received a strange text from an unknown number asking if he was available to get steak and red wine that night. The show feels strongly it's a scam, but Eddie does not especially after further developments.
The scammer, who claims to be “Judy,” has continued texting Eddie. She said she was from California, but admitted they were too far apart to meet for steak and wine. Then she sent the classic “You up?” message, which made Eddie think it might be a lonely person trying to connect.
His wife has officially asked him to stop responding, but Bobby suggested Eddie ask Judy if she needs anything, since she hasn’t requested money yet. Things got weirder when Eddie received another random text from a different unknown number.
The team joked that Judy must have put him on a list saying, “This guy’s easy.” Bobby even told Eddie to ask for a picture to see what Judy looked like, but so far, no photo has been sent.
