Jeffrey J. Zander has more than 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, though his background and knowledge dates back even further. Zander Insurance Group was founded nearly 100 years ago by Jeff’s great grandfather, Herman Zander. Today, it is a fourth-generation, family-and-employee-owned business with Jeff as the company’s CEO.
Jeff joined Zander in 1986 after gaining experience working for Northwestern Mutual in New York, NY and Progressive Insurance Corp. in Hartford, CT. When Jeff joined Zander, his initial emphasis was to develop new marketing programs to instill higher community awareness to the services offered by Zander.
Throughout the years—through strong and profitable growth—Jeff has led Zander to expand its focus on Property and Casualty programs to an array of offerings. Zander now offers Term Life, Disability, Home, Health and Identity Theft Insurance among other services, including Employee Benefits, Business Insurance and more. The company’s growth from humble beginnings to its current status as one of the largest, most profitable and debt-free insurance agencies in the country reinforces its success in serving clients.
Jeff holds a bachelor’s degree in philosophy (insurance/marketing) from Miami University. He and his wife Elisha have an adult daughter named Halle.
