Founder, CEO and nurse practitioner Maegan Griffin brings more than seven years of aesthetic medicine experience to Skin Pharm, a modern cosmetic dermatology practice offering in-clinic treatments and at-home skin care.
Originally from Scottsdale, AZ, Griffin has grown some major roots in Nashville, TN. Griffin completed her Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Belmont University and her Master of Science in Nursing at Tennessee State University. After completing her studies, marrying, having children and opening her flagship clinic, she now comfortably calls Nashville ‘home.’
Griffin ultimately decided to launch the company after her personal calling to create something that she needed. The ideation behind the clinic was to create a business environment in which she herself would want to work for as an employee. Skin Pharm provides Griffin with a creative outlet because every patient is a personal project.
Skin Pharm was one the first woman-founded cosmetic dermatology clinics available to consumers – think 2017, so before the boom. An eponymous skin care line followed in 2018, with clinics in Atlanta (2020) and Dallas (2021) coming soon after. Most of Griffin’s team is familiar with the beauty industry, either being an existing patient or a self-proclaimed skin care connoisseur.
Griffin is known for her innovative work in cosmetic dermatology, facial rejuvenation techniques and aesthetic medicine utilizing the latest cutting-edge technology. As an early adopter of injectables and skin laser technologies, Griffin’s artful work has secured her reputation as a practitioner who helps patients create meaningful internal and external changes in their lives while finding a balanced approach to anti-aging and beauty.
Griffin and her team focus on promoting skin health, empowering individuals and building a community around a common interest in looking as good as you feel. Griffin seeks to provide a connected culture for the skin care movement for patients who visit a clinic, to build confidence and self-esteem.
