There's a pretty good chance that you probably share your Netflix account with someone, right? Or maybe you have access to someone's password?
Apparently, Netflix could be set to crack down on those sharing their account widely with a new piece of software.
A software company called Synamedia unveiled the new system recently at CES 2019 in Las Vegas. The software will be able to analyse things such as where users are logged on and then can flag shared accounts.
Don't panic too much though. If you're just sharing with family and friends, Netflix may just make you upgrade to a premium account.
The main thing that Netflix is targeting is people who are sharing log in info with for-profit operations. Those accounts could potentially be shut down.
