With lots of places around the country still being closed, many people have had to change upcoming plans. For some people that means changing plans involving their bachelor or bachelorette parties.
Kelli Van Harn and Omar Brown had to postpone their wedding celebration, but they weren’t about to cancel their Bachelor and Bachelorette parties. Kelli threw her fiancé, Omar, a Vegas-themed Bachelor party in their apartment, complete with a roulette table, cards, bottles of booze and shot glasses, pizza, and mini slot machines.
Omar returned the favor by throwing a Bachelorette party for Kelli. He put on some "girl clothes," made mimosas, gave her a manicure and they watched the movie Bridesmaids. Their TikTok videos of the parties for two have gone viral with hundreds of thousands of views. "It's been really, really special to see the hope that it brings that love is still there and things are still happening even though this horrible virus is out there," Kelli said of the response to the videos. “We just want to share our story and hopefully bring some smiles to people.
