There was a point a few months ago where I would have paid this much for a SINGLE roll of toilet paper . . .
A study found the average American will go through $11,198 worth of toilet paper in their lifetime. Which is just over $180 a year.
Spending has almost doubled since the pandemic started though. Because we've all stocked up and used more while stuck at home.
Here are three more quick stats from the survey . . .
1. The average household goes through 159 rolls of toilet paper a year, and 145 rolls of paper towels.
2. Over the course of your life, you'll spend $10,519 on paper towels . . . $9,454 on tissues . . . and go through $9,403 worth of plastic bags and garbage bags.
3. Bidets are more popular than they used to be in the U.S. And 42% of people who don't have one now say they'd consider it.
