10 Cities with the Worst Drivers, and the 10 with the Best Drivers

An auto insurance company dug through two million insurance quotes in the 70 largest cities in the U.S., and ranked them based on how BAD the drivers were . . . the ones with the most accidents, speeding tickets, DUIs, and other citations.

Overall, Omaha, Nebraska drivers were the WORST. Partly because Omaha had the most DUIs over the past year.

Two California cities were the next-worst, Riverside and Bakersfield . . . followed by Columbus, Ohio . . . Richmond, Virginia . . . Fresno, California . . . Sacramento . . . Salt Lake City . . . Austin, Texas . . . and Baltimore.

On the flip-side, the drivers in Birmingham, Alabama were rated the BEST. They had fewer speeding tickets and driving citations than any other city . . . and also had low numbers of DUIs and accidents.

St. Louis had the second-best drivers, followed by Little Rock, Arkansas . . . New Orleans . . . Memphis . . . Louisville, Kentucky . . . Detroit . . . Atlanta . . . Baton Rouge, Louisiana . . . and Grand Rapids, Michigan.

It looks like Nashville didn't appear on the best driver OR worst drivers list.
