Today, February 10th, is the 41st day of the year, and that's THE day, on average, that people abandon their New Year's resolutions.
So why are we all giving up? 40% say they're less motivated to change than they were on New Year's Eve . . . after maybe a few drinks.
29% say they're getting bored with sticking to the resolution.
And 28% say they're experiencing "complications." Basically, they're trying to imagine a Valentine's Day without sweets . . . a Super Bowl party without booze . . . or, you know, any day with more exercising.
Planet Fitness is trying to capitalize on this by dubbing tomorrow, February 11th, "Resolution Reset Day" . . . to "remind everyone that it's not too late to renew your commitment" to change. At least for another 41 days.
