Allow us to introduce you to a Nashville Humane Association (NHA) dog who's available for adoption and has been looking for his "paw-fect" Forever Home since September 14, 2020...
Please meet Wiley. AKA Smiley Wiley. Because THOSE TEEF! And THAT UNDERBITE! He's a 3-year-old Boxer/Pit Bull Terrier mix who weighs 55 pounds. He's a handsome guy who instantly makes BFF's with every human he meets. You all saw that when he went FB LIVE with Wayne and Tay. Yup. They could not stop taking and crushing about him.
Now here what Wiley has to say:
"Hi! My name is Wiley! I love long runs and walks around the park and by long, I mean pretty short because I get tired and just want to lie down! I spend most of my time sleeping on the couch and cuddling absolutely everyone who will let me. Don't let my laziness fool you, I can be very active and energetic as well. I love to play with toys, and I even know how to bring them back most of the time! I have been practicing my tricks and so far, I am crushing sitting and laying down and I am housebroken! Oh, I know how to do shake, too. -PLUS- I love all humans! Even the little ones, although I can play a little rough at times and tend to jump up on people! I am not a fan of other dogs, but thanks to my AWESOME foster, I have been learning that they are not all scary! I'm still a little cautious, so if you have another doggie member of your family at home, I would love to meet them first to make sure we would be a good fit! So, all I ask when I meet someone who wants to adopt me is to be patient. Trust me. I'm worth it. Thank you!"
Did he make you smile? Of course, he did - That's Wiley's job! And this silly and always happy guy takes that job of his very seriously. All of us at NHA are so grateful Wiley has made new friends with The Big 98. He'll also be forever thankful to Miranda Lambert for giving him this "MuttNation Monday" opportunity! Wiley totally enjoyed every moment! Paws everywhere are totally crossed that after this feature, Wiley will have the Forever Home we all dream for him.
