Blake has lived at Nashville Humane Association (NHA) for several weeks. During this time at NHA, our dedicated Staff and Volunteers have just fallen head over heels in love with this large, older, black, mix breed dog and just can't wait for him to find THE MOST PAWFECT FOREVER HOME EVER!
Anyone out there reading this and falling in love with his pictures plus the Facebook Live with Wayne D Show on The Big 98... Please know that meeting Blake in person is even better! Seriously. Everyone, just like Wayne & Tay, who meets Blake says the same thing after their introduction: "HE IS SOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO SWEET!" It's true. Blake is amazing. We can wait for you to meet and rub his belly and kiss his forehead! (Neither can he)
A little bit more about the happiest boy:
Blake's large personality fits his large size: He's a 3- and 1/2-year-old, Black Lab / Border Collier mix who weighs 65 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and is microchipped.
Blake has the most expressive face, too. He looks like he is always smiling. Which, almost instantaneously, puts a smile on any hooman that is with him! Yup. His smile is totally infectious. He is an active boy who is always ready for an outside adventure and doggie play dates. Blake has excellent inside potty manners and will fill your heart with so much love and laughter. He loves being outside and being active just as much as he loves being inside the home, right by your side, getting belly rubs and forehead kisses, and being repeatedly asked "Who's a good boy?" Trust us - He knows the answer and will look at you, propeller wag his tail as if he's saying back to you..."ME!"
Also, a Fun Fact: Blake also gets along GREAT with other dogs! His play style matches whatever other dog he is with. So, if you've got a dog at home looking for a BFF, please bring them to NHA for a meet & greet. He is such a wonderful dog who is looking for a forever home. He wants all the love. In return, you'll get all of his.

We could go on and on about mister happy pants... a dog who is so easy to love but seems to be harder to get adopted because of his color and size. He deserves a Forever Home like all the pets do. Once you meet Blake, you will see that no other dog will ever #LoveHarder when ADOPTED!
