Dru is new to Nashville Humane Association (NHA) and has made quite the impression to all NHA Staff and Volunteers almost immediately after moving to our facility from an overcrowded, out of county, shelter. Yep. It's true. We all have a huge crush on this large, black, adult, mix breed dog and just can't wait for him to find the "Forever #LoveHarder Home" he deserves. Just like last week's featured pet, Fred. Who, if you haven't heard by now, actually met Miranda Lambert last week too! WOW - What a lucky dog, right?
More of that fun surprise visit in The Big 98's FB Live here:
Anyone out there reading this and falling in love with Dru's pictures plus the Facebook Live he did with Wayne D Show's Wayne &Tayon The Big 98... Please know that meeting Dru in person is even more fun! He is such a happy boy. He loves life. Always smiling. Fun Fact about Dru... When you ask him to sit (and he does) the proud look on his face is so adorable. You can just see that it says "Hey, I know that word! Look! I did it! Now where's my treat?!"
A little bit more about the sweetest guy who wore a bow tie just for Wayne, Tay, The Big 98, and everyone at MuttNation Foundation... especially Ms. Miranda plus all the people out there reading this now. Dress For Adoption Success is Dru's motto!
Dru's large personality fits his large size. He is a 1-year-old, BlackLab / Pittie Mix who weighs 49 pounds. He is neutered, up to date on shots, and is microchipped. Dru is an active young dog who is always ready for outside cardio adventures. He loves to stop and sniff all the scents along the way, so pleased be prepared when walking with him that he has a nose filled with curiosity. Dru also has great inside potty manners when kept on a schedule, plus a face that is filled with sweetness. He is strong, and filled with much excitement when he is outside, so we recommend when out walking with him to attach her leash to a harness verses a collar. (Having him harnessed will be much easier to keep him by your side) Oh! Dru also LOVE to jump up and give kisses! So just be ready for that big tongue of his to slobber up your face every chance he gets. He also gets along well with other dogs. Having a doggie BFF would be very beneficial for him to exercise off some of his energy with canine play time. So, if you've got a dog at home looking for a BFF, please bring them to NHA for a meet & greet.
Who will be the lucky one to adopt Dru at NHA? Because this dog would sure love to be adopted by YOU! He is dog who is so easy to love but seems to be harder to get adopted because of his breed mix, color, size, and strength. Dru deserves a Forever Home like all the pets do. Once you meet him, you will see that no other dog will ever #LoveHarder when ADOPTED! NHA is open for adoptions Tuesday through Sunday starting at 10am.
Please come visit and ADOPT this wonderful adult dog. THANK YOU!
PS: Thanks to Bissell Pet Foundation, and their Nationawide Holiday Hope Event, Dru (like every Adult Cat and Adult Dog at NHA) currently has a reduced adoption fee of $25! NHA will be participating in this wonderful home finding event now through Sunday, December 19th.
