All of us at NHA LOVE how Miranda Lambert's MuttNation #LoveHarder campaign focuses on harder to adopt dogs such as The Bully Breed, The Black Dogs and The Senior Dogs since they truly do deserve their own special spotlight. So, without further ado, please meet a dog we are all wild about, HARRY. He is wonderful SENIOR DOG here at NHA. Harry is a 10-year-old Min Pin Mix who weighs 20 pounds. Even though he is an angel, housebroken, and pretty much a perfect gentleman, he is getting overlooked at NHA. Which is unfortunate because this senior dog totally rocks! Age is just a number to him. He is filled with energy, sweetness, love, spunk, plus an endearing raspy bark.
Harry is a laid back and chill kind of guy with a get up and go attitude when he notices a leash. He also has the same attitude when he sees a blanket and a squishy bed. Either going for strolls around the neighborhood or hanging inside demanding belly rubs and treats - Harry is ready for whatever you want to do! And he will do it right by your side. When he is with his people, Harry is the happiest! One of Harry's most favorite things to do is going for a walk. This guy loves taking in the sights, while standing tall and proud with his "I still got it" strut! Another one of his favorite things are soft squishy beds. Covered with a blanket. Surrounded by toys.
Hank was transported several weeks ago to NHA from one of our community partners which was overcrowded and beyond capacity with pets. Being a senior dog, Harry was getting overlooked. Even though he is an amazing dog, he was not getting an opportunity to show off how amazing he is. We're excited Harry is at NHA. We all find his grey face charming and hope all of you will too. Especially now that he's made new friends with The Big 98's Wayne D Show. Plus, of course, he'll be forever thankful to Miranda Lambert for giving him this "MuttNation Monday" opportunity! Paws are totally crossed that after this feature, Harry will have the Forever Home we all dream for him!
