Daisy has been at Nashville Humane Association for close to two months and this sweet angel dog is more than ready to find a FOREVER HOME! Anyone out there reading this: Please don't let her size or age intimidate you in any way. She is a total love bug with the sweetest personality. Which is why she is the perfect dog to represent MuttNation's #LoveHarder campaign today... She's a dog who seems to be harder to adopt because of her size, age, and breed mix.
A little bit more about this adorable and friendly girl: Daisy is a 6 and ½ year old Doberman mix who weighs 94 pounds. As you can see... she has the most soulful eyes. She’s super snuggly and loves curling up on her dog bed, or a nearby human, surrounded by her collection of stuffed toys, appreciating all the affection and sweet talk one may give her.
She is a VERY well-behaved gal too. Daisy is housebroken plus she walks right by your side when on a leash and doesn't even tug one bit. Unless she spots a squirrel. Then you really need to hold on tight. Trust us.
Says Daisy: “Hi, I'm Daisy and I'm a whole lotta pup to love! Feel free to boop my nose while you’re reading about me and looking at my pictures. I’m very loving. Very friendly. And very excited when people spend time with me and tell me how sweet I am. I am 6 & 1/2 years old, and currently weighing in at about 94 pounds. So, having a family dedicated to helping me live a healthier lifestyle is important! (I’ve lost 3 pounds since moving to NHA) I love to go one walks and look for all the birds and squirrels. I also love the back and butt scratches (I love it so much that I do a little wiggle dance in celebration) I keep my kennel here at NHA very clean and tidy, which impresses NHA Animal Care Staff very much, and totally promise to do the same in my forever home. My favorite pastime is curling up on a squishy blanket surrounded by my stuffed toys. Oh Daisy! She's filled with so much personality! It truly is fun getting to know her. Sit with her, talk to her, tell her what a good girl she is, and soon you will find out that she will scootch up close to you and begin to fill your heart with so much love. Then watch out: smothering your face with kisses starts to happen. Seriously, look at that adorable face. And those soulful eyes. Such a beautiful girl who is looking for a forever home. She wants all the love a new family may give her. In return, she'll give you all of hers. She sounds wonderful, right? On that note: It's even better to meet her in person.
