NHA Staff and Volunteers have been getting to know Piper again since she became a "return adoption" earlier this month, after being adopted almost a year ago, and basically, just like many of us remember... she is one of those dogs that you pretty much fall in love with at hello. Also... Anyone out there reading this... Please don't let the fact that she is mixed with "Pit Bull" intimidate you in any way. PIPER is a total mush who adores her stuffed toy animal friends as much as her people friends. She is also a dog who doesn't mind accessorizing. As you will see in some of her pictures: Doggy Pearls, Bow Tie's, Bandana's... Yup. It's true. PIPER LOVES FASHION!
And if that isn't enough, there's so much more to love about this sweetheart...
Piper is almost two years old and weighs 54 pounds. She's a snuggly dog who loves lap time with her humans. Giving hugs and slobbery kisses too are a few of her favorite things. She knows sit, is housebroken, and trust us; she will fill your heart with oh-so-much love! Piper is such a beautiful doggo who is looking for a forever home where she will put a smile on your face 24/7. She wants all your love. In return, she'll give you all of hers. Also, like all pets at NHA on NHA's adoption floor, Piper is spayed. She is up to date on shots and microchipped.
Says Piper: "Hi Fellow Athlete and Future Running Buddy! My name is Piper and I'm said to be the most sassy and spunky gal. I know how to make you laugh and I bet with the right treats, I could learn so much. And Wow, do I love goofing around. You know promoting the fun that is being silly! For example, I love playing fetch. Throw the ball and I will chase it, I will grab it, but will I give it back to you? lol... maybe. Yup. We all have our quirks, I'd thrive in a home that could offer further training support - After all, we're never done learning, are we? I love doggos who share my same play style, and REALLY love a good Kong toy stuffed with Peanut Butter. All this to say, I can't wait to be your best friend and for the adventures to come!
